資生堂の試験室・意匠部誕生110周年を記念したウィンドウ『Forms in Flow ― 巡りのかたち ― 』のコンセプト設計・デザイン・制作を行いました。
資生堂のアート&サイエンスを表現する無数のオブジェは、一つ一つ液体化した蜜蝋を氷で成形し作成されました。熱＝エネルギーの交換という自然の「巡り」から生まれた「かたち」は、資生堂のアート&サイエンスの共創が社会と生態系へ伝播していくように、一点から連なりウィンドウ全体へ広がっていきます。
本ウィンドウは視覚的要素だけではなく、マテリアルにおいても自然の中の「巡り」に合わせ、土に還る蜜蝋を使用しコンセプトを反映したデザインとなっています。

HAKUTEN handled the concept planning, design, and production for the window display, “Forms in Flow,” created in celebration of the 110th anniversary of Shiseido’s research laboratory and their design department, “Ishobu”.
Expressing Shiseido’s Art & Science, countless objects were crafted one by one, molding liquefied beeswax with ice. Born from the natural “flow” of heat, these “forms” connect seamlessly from a single point and spread across the entire window, mirroring how the co-creation of Shiseido’s Art & Science radiates through society and ecosystems.
Beyond its visual elements, the design reflects this core concept through its material selection, incorporating biodegradable beeswax to converge with the natural “flow” of the environment.
